Short Course Training Calendar
The CCWT Short Course Training Calendar provides a wide range of training to the human services sector across New South Wales. Our purpose is to deliver professional learning that transforms people and communities for a better society.
CCWT’s program offers workshops in broad range of topics relevant to people working in community services, health and other non-government organisations. This includes Child Protection, Family Work, OOHC, Counselling, Mental Health, Disability, Worker Wellbeing, Management and more.
For those who prefer studying in their own time and at their own pace, we also offer distance packages, online learning and webinars. Whether you are new to the sector or you have years of experience, we have a course for you!
Our presenters are highly experienced and knowledgeable in their respective professional fields and have a strong understanding and/or experience in the not for profit human services sector. They draw on adult learning principles that engage the learner to draw on their own experiences and, through a process of sharing, develop new knowledge and different ways of thinking. Diversity, cultural sensitivity and inclusivity are also valued and practised.
This Training is supported by a grant from the NSW Department of Communities and Justice.
Our short courses offer various payment methods, including the ability to register for a course and invoice your employer.

We’ve made a number of changes to the way our Short Course Training Calendar is being published for 2020. Going forward we will release our Training Calendar every 6 months, published in December and May. This will allow us more flexibility to fully meet the fast changing training needs of the sector. There is a short video explaining these changes in more detail.
To help you with searching for the courses you need, including outlines of each course, and the dates and venues of those running till the end of April, we have another short video explaining how best to use our website.
