Lou Johnston is a social worker and member of Family Inclusion Strategies in the Hunter. She was a member of a research team that looked at the experiences of parents in the Hunter Valley of child protection, legal, and social services.

Lou has been a lecturer at the University of Newcastle and her private practice includes consultancy for human services, workshop development and facilitation – such as, professional supervision, leadership, and reflective practice – policy and practice reviews, and individual and group supervision.
