Suzie Hudson

Dr Suzie Hudson is an accredited Mental Health Social Worker with the Australian Association of Social Workers and has over 16 years experience in the fields of substance misuse, mental health, forensics, research and evaluation. Suzie has worked, developed and managed community-based and residential alcohol and drug services both in Australia and overseas. In the last 5 years, Suzie has provided counselling, groupwork and training specialising in psychostimulant misuse, having previously been the Manager of the Stimulant Treatment Program at St Vincent’s Hospital.
Suzie has conducted training, community development projects, supervision and service/program evaluations for Government and Non-Government Services – national and international. As Principal Consultant of Speak Listen Heal, past clients include: UNICEF, The Maldives Government, The Lyndon Community, The Network of Alcohol and Drug Agencies (NADA) New South Wales, Hunter New England Health Services and the Haymarket Foundation.
With a of breadth experience, a PhD in Public Health and Community Medicine and a passion for engaging with social change, Suzie brings a balance of clinical, organisational and research perspectives to each training session.
