Jacki Short

Jacki Short is the principal psychologist at the Sydney Centre for Creative Change. She facilitates a range of training in art and play therapies and offers counselling and supervision.
Jacki is a member of the Australian Psychological Society Counselling College, has a Masters in Adult Education and was awarded the inaugural Educator’s Award at the Australian College of Applied Psychology.
She has worked extensively with children and young people as a school counsellor, youth worker and coordinator of group programs for children of alcoholics. With over twenty years of counselling experience, she recognises the importance of safe engagement, clear contracting and the therapeutic benefits of working with creative media.
She is also committed to the principles and practices of experiential learning and knows we are best engaged with and receptive to new ideas when they are personally and professionally relevant.
