Lauren Stracey is an adolescent and family counsellor, who has been working with young people for over 10 years.

Lauren’s career has involved working with young people and their families experiencing drug and alcohol issues, mental health issues, developing targeted programs for Aboriginal communities, developing parenting programs for at risk families, as well as families whose child is experiencing coexisting drug and alcohol and mental health issues.

She is passionate about working with young people and families in ways that honour the young person and their family, bringing warmth, laughter, and creativity to her work. Lauren is currently completing her Masters in Social Health and Counselling, and holds a Bachelors Degree in Youth Work, and Post Graduate studies in Psychology.
