Miriam Wyzenbeek

Miriam is an endorsed Clinical and Forensic Psychologist and a board approved supervisor. She is a full member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and the APS colleges of Clinical and Forensic Psychology. She is member of the Australian and New Zealand Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abuse (ANZATSA) and the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (ATSA). Miriam is also accredited at the clinical level with the NSW Child Sex Offender Counsellor Accreditation Scheme (CSOCAS).
Miriam has experience working within both public and private service delivery models, and across all stages of the Justice System. She has expertise in report writing, risk assessment, the treatment of offending, assessment and management of offenders at risk of harm to self/others, and drug/alcohol rehabilitation. She also has experience in assessing, diagnosing and treating a range of clinical mental health disorders and other psychological issues. Miriam’s style is collaborative, evidence- based and solution-focused, with a particular emphasis on assisting individuals in learning how to better manage current and future difficulties. Miriam also has experience providing professional consultation on professionally-related ethical matters.
