Kenn Clift is a solicitor with the Intellectual Disability Rights Service working in the Parents' Project. Kenn provides legal assistance to parents with intellectual disability throughout NSW in relation to care proceedings and other issues where parents are at risk of losing their children.
He is a solicitor who comes from a background of many years working in community managed youth, men’s, disability support and accommodation services, including as a disability support worker for NSW Ageing Disability and Home Care.
Kenn was the coordinator of IDRS’s Criminal Justice Support Network in Newcastle and Hunter Valley from 2009 to 2015. He has had valuable experience successfully supporting people with intellectual disability through the process to gain meaningful access to the NDIS.
