Marinos Anastas

Marinos Anastas has over 13 years of experience in a variety of roles within the community welfare sector – in both non-government and government environments, across many parts of NSW.
These roles have included Youth Worker, AOD Educator, Coordinator, Quality Assurance & Policy Officer, Service Manager and currently as Caseworker within the Department of Justice.
Marinos has mainly worked with individuals and groups affected by the criminal justice system – people with complex needs transitioning back into the community, and tailoring their support whilst in the community.
He specialises in behavioural support and is passionate about being ‘outcome focused but process driven’, to ensure a solid foundation is built for individuals to grow within the community.
Marinos has a significant amount of formal training in a range of frameworks/models for working with a variety of offender types. In addition, he has qualifications including Cert IV in TAE, Cert IV in Community Welfare and currently completing a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Sociology with Macquarie University.
