Eleonora De Michele has been working in child protection service delivery for the past 38 years in both government and non-government organisations.
Her extensive experience includes working in frontline statutory Child Protection work as a Case Worker, supervisor, senior manager; oversighting Child Protection and Out of Home Care policy development and implementation and as a Senior Child Protection trainer.
For the past 22 years Eleonora has worked as an independent consultant, both nationally and internationally, providing high quality consultancy services to government and non-government organisations in all aspects of Child Protection service development, delivery and evaluation. She continues to provide specialist clinical services including expert child protection and out-of-home care case reviews, assessments and opinion testimony in complex child abuse cases.
She is a skilled facilitator and trainer and a leading writer of curriculum covering all aspects of collaborative, safety-oriented child protection and domestic violence practice, leadership development, worker self-care and is an accredited trainer of the Structured Decision Making® Assessment tools utilized in various jurisdictions.
Eleonora provides individual and group supervision and coaching to executive and senior managers, supervisors and field staff as she is passionate about supporting agencies deliver best quality services to vulnerable communities.
